I'm going cross country and need a luggage lock.I bought a different one first from a different manufacturer. It came highly recommended by lock reviewers and one of the AI agents. I couldn't get that lock to accept a new code, and so I refunded it.I then bought a two pack of these because I still wasn't convinced that it would fit into the small holes on my zipper tabs. I have a strange back pack. It is made and sold by the Boss musical instrument company, and is designed to hold my pedal board. I have more zippers than locks. My biggest regret is not simply buying the 4 pack of these.Instructions were clear:This was the entire issue with the first lock. That lock came with a 4 image pantomime of what to do on the back of the package, and nothing was clearly explained. The dial numbers were loose and sloppy. This lock came with an instruction card that unfolded, and explained things easily.Setting the code was ridiculously easy. If you have a bad memory put the code in your secure files folder or something. Because, while you can change the code infinite times, it will always require the current set PIN.I think that this lock is as durable as it can be. If somebody takes a set of bolt cutters to it, it won't last long. But I bet you could run it over with your car for days and it would still work.It's black in color as the pictures show. The numbers are bright white. They click into place and don't feel sloppy, It has a decent weight for a small object.I would never buy a lock based on its looks, but the design team have made a nice looking product.Value for money is a little harder for me to quantify this time. The ONLY reason that I have to buy this lock, is because other people already have the keys to break into it and rifle through my stuff and potentially steal it. Like happened a few months back with that dude's Oscar.I don't find that to be a good value at all!But the price of these locks versus the perceived durability of them means that if I'm forced to buy more TSA locks in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this country.

Size is pretty good. Good material. Easy to use and setup. Functionality is to keep your belongings safe!

Delicate and robust simultaneously, it is easy to set up the code combination; make sure you put the 000 number on the side screen instead of in the front. I made this mistake; it is not heavy, so you can carry it in your purse when not using it.

Seems like a good solid lock. I tried out the masterlock backpack lock and it kept breaking and not opening for the right combination, so i bought these. So far 10/10. Really solid and sturdy, beautiful color, amazing quality. I would recommend. Plus, TSA can open it if they need, so that's helpful.

Bought the 6 pack for my pistol and rifle cases. They work perfectly! They're well made and personal codes are easy to set!

Bought this to replace Forge's TSA cable locks. The cables still allowed limited access to my hard case so I wanted something with less clearance. These locks are snug on Harbor Freight's Apache 5800 hard case.Easy to program.

And yes I would buy again and very good locks I use them everyday

Bought this for my upcoming trip to Miami next week for my Delaney suitcase fits perfectly in the lock holder on the suitcase, durable and easy to use.

What i like most about the Forge Luggage Lock is the personal combination process. Its easy to set up in 4 simple steps. Only thing i dislike is the non ability to change your chosen 3 number combination. The most important feature i feel is the red button indicator, basically if any TSA agent has inspected your luggage the indication button will be visible notifying you that your luggage has been inspected and TSA agent universal keyhole dial is another added bonus in security.

You should get it if you need one for travel..

I used this lock for one round trip in the US. When I arrived home it was dangling from my luggage. I have tried Forge��s suggestions with all combinations-in case it had inadvertently been changed. As you can see in the photo the shackle will not extend enough to swivel the complete rotation. Customer service did contact me and are replacing my lock. Maybe this was a one up? I��ll give it a go again.

I like that this product gives the option to put in a code and that you can see whether or not it has been unlocked by TSA, so if anything goes missing you know who to blame. It��s easy to lock and reset the code if needed.

Works great for general locking items up. Fits Case Club cases perfectly; no clearance issues when opening or securing the lock. Setting your own combination is a easy to do.

I first noticed the weight of the box. Then I was impressed at how easy it was to re-code the locks. These are great and I am so happy I got the 6 pack. Now we are thinking about ordering a few more for gifts.

I just received the locks and found them easy to program, and they do seem very sturdy. Other than at-home testing, I haven't put them to work yet on actual flights, so I can't speak to how durable they actually end up being. It appears to me that these locks were repackaged by the seller and were not sent to me in the original manufacturer's packaging. Nevertheless, they do work correctly.

Survived multiple tours through different airports. Nothing but few scratches. Still works like a champ.
