TSA-Approved 4-Digit Cable Luggage Lock with Backup Key & Open Alert (Black)

This dual pack has two four-digit combination locks that are built from very robust metal with braided steel cable and, very importantly, are TSA-compliant for travel. These locks can also be operated with an included key for convenience. The locks are black and look professional, and I found that they will securely lock any type of bag closed. You can also reprogram the four-digit combination by using the included key, which is good in case you forget your code or simply need to change it. Additionally, there is a red alert button that will pop up any time the TSA opens the bag to inspect the contents. The flexible steel cable is used to secure the device, which provides plenty of versatility for connection points with tight bends or in tight locations. This system works particularly well with zippers on your bag, which is helpful as well. Overall, these do the job perfectly, and they have a good feature-to-price ratio.

I recently purchased the SURE LOCK TSA Approved Cable Luggage Locks, and they have quickly become an essential part of my travel gear. The combination of a 4-digit code and a key option provides great flexibility and peace of mind. Setting up the code was straightforward, and the dials turn smoothly. The flexible cable design is a significant improvement over traditional rigid shackles, making it much easier to thread through various types of luggage zippers and hard-shell cases. They feel sturdy and well-made, giving me confidence that my belongings are secure. Its perfect in size too. Overall, I highly recommend these locks to any frequent traveler looking for durability and ease of use.

I really like this luggage lock set. The locks feel sturdy and well made, and the flexible cable makes them easy to use with different suitcases and travel bags. I like having both a 4-digit combination and a backup key, which gives extra peace of mind while traveling. The red TSA-open indicator is also a useful feature because you can quickly see if your bag was inspected. The 4-pack is practical for family trips or multiple bags.

These SURE LOCK TSA-approved cable luggage locks are such a smart, practical addition to any travel gear collection. Getting a two-pack for under $25 feels like a really solid value, especially since you can easily secure both a main checked suitcase and a carry-on or backpack. The design is packed with thoughtful features. The slim, flexible braided steel cable is a huge upgrade over rigid metal shackles because it slides effortlessly through tight zipper pulls and small lock holes on camera cases or travel bags. Having the dual-access option is a major sanity saver, too. You can use your personal four-digit combination for quick access, but if you ever forget your code or get frustrated with the dials, the included backup keys will get you inside without having to snip the lock. Plus, if TSA agents use their master key to inspect your bag, a bright red indicator pops up so you know right away that your luggage was opened.Setting your own combination is completely tool-free, but just keep in mind that the lock MUST be in the fully locked position before you flip the metal reset tab at the bottom to program your new code. Once you have that down, the dials turn smoothly and high-contrast numbers make it easy to align your code in dim hotel rooms or crowded airports. Built with a heavy-duty zinc alloy body, they feel sturdy enough to take a beating on the baggage carousel while giving you total peace of mind on the road. Overall really happy with these and will be using them for all my future travels!

I own a variety of water tight cases. Most have the ability to be locked. The only problem is that, due to their thickness, they require a lock with a long shackle. Good luck in finding a small one. This lock solves the problem perfectly. It has a thick wire shackle, a 4 number combination and the ability to be opened with a TSA key. It's strong, well made and just what I was looking for.

These locks have worked really well for me. The flexible cable is thin enough to fit through the small holes on my purse zipper pulls, which is one of the main ways I use them. Theyre easy to put on and remove, and I like having the option of using either the combination or the included key. The two-pack is also convenient since I can keep one on my purse and have another available for luggage or another bag. They feel sturdy, and so far Ive had no problems with either lock.

I wanted some locks for when I travel. I'm probably going to use it for my carry-on backpack or sling bag. Instructions were easy to follow and it was even easier to set the combo. It comes with 2 keys to help unlock if you ever forget the code for some reason. It comes in the standard black color. it's a 4 digit combo lock. The numbers are smooth to rotate. They're not super sticky or hard to rotate like of the locks I've seen before in Escape Rooms. The narrow cord makes it easy to slip into the zipper holes. The wire feels really strong and thick. It won't be easy to cut through it. Keeps my belonging safe and gives me peace of mind

Primarily used on my luggage bags, the flexible steel cable makes threading through tight suitcase zippers, duffel bags, and backpacks effortless. Built with a durable zinc alloy body, clear alignment dials for easy setup, and a tool-free code reset feature, these locks provide total peace of mind for any journey.

This review is for the pack of two 4-digit combination locks. They come with a set of two identical keys. They feel well-made and more intended to show if something was opened than to provide solid protection, as the cable could be easily cut with basic tools. They come with a detailed instruction sheet. There are QR codes to two YouTube videos that were both set to "private" when I tried to view them! Setting the combination is easy: ensure the lock is CLOSED and set to the current combination, pull out a metal tab at the bottom of the lock, set the new combination, push the tab back - done! The wheels turn smoothly and the lock opens easily with a press of the button. You can also open the lock with one of the supplied keys. This will cause a red marker to pop up to show that the lock had been opened without using the combination, same as if a TSA agent had done it with their key.Overall, happy with the locks that are on par with other travel locks I've used in the past.

These locks have been nice to have around when I have cases and other similar items to lock up. I have not flown with one to see if the TSA has any issue but even if they cut it, the price-point allow for quick replacement if necessary. They provide a decent level of protection and they seem durable. Not sure how they will hold up long term but for now the size and versatility make these a great option. The size is also smaller.

These are nice little travel locks and I really like how small and compact they are. They do not add much bulk to luggage, backpacks, or smaller zipper compartments. The flexible cable is probably my favorite part because it is much easier to get through tighter zipper pulls and awkward spaces than a traditional solid lock.I also like having the 4-digit combination option. The last thing I need while traveling is another tiny key to keep track of, so being able to use the code instead is much more convenient. They feel sturdy for their size, the numbers are easy to see, and getting four in the pack is great when you have multiple bags to secure.

This is a cable-type lock and not one where the loop is a solid steel that swings over. One end of the cable gets released out of its hole and it's bendable. That's neither a compliment nor a knock; just wanted you to be aware of exactly how this is comparatively with other luggage locks. I love the 4 digit code for extra peace-of-mind. It is incredibly easy to operate and change codes, and they include a clear and concise instruction sheet. They include two keys so you can operate it either with code or key, and if TSA opens your luggage, you will see the tab pop up on the lock to symbolize that. If you just want that added assurance, these are wonderful locks. No, nothing is really preventing someone from taking some strong pliers to break the lock and open your luggage, but the same can be said for any compact luggage locks. The features on these are awesome and make them well-worth the cost!

SURE LOCK Store: TSA-Approved Cable Luggage Locks, Key or 4-Digit Code, Qty: 4This product is a pair of 4-digit combination padlocks that are TSA-Approved for use with cases, particularly firearm cases, that will be traveling on an airliner as luggage. While the padlocks are designed as a 4-digit combination lock, they have the option of being operated with the included key. This pair of padlocks utilize a zinc alloy construction and the shackle is a flexible steel wire arrangement that makes it a little easier to employ the padlock on small cases with small hasps for the installation of a padlock. One interesting feature of this product is the red Alert Dot built into the padlock body. Should the TSA decide to inspect your checked case, and they open this padlock, the red Alert Dot will pop up to definitively prove that a TSA Agent has entered your case for inspection. This is an excellent feature to have when traveling with firearms, especially expensive firearms, as it can definitively prove that your case was entered and inspected by the TSA. Another feature of this lock is the ability to reset the 4-digit code, should it be forgotten, by using the supplied key. This is especially helpful when these locks are only occasionally used.I ordered these locks to go with several firearms cases I ordered that did not come with locks. A case is always nice to have and a lockable case is even nicer and definitely more secure. These locks seem to be well-made and have some very interesting features included.

I received a two-pack of these locks, rather than the four-pack shown in this listing, so I cant really comment on the value compared with this particular set. I can, however, comment on the locks themselves, and overall I really like them. They feel solid, durable, and well made, and I like that they seem sturdy enough for both travel and outdoor use. The cable design also gives you more flexibility than a traditional rigid luggage lock. They come with a set of keys to unlock if you forget the code.My only real frustration was changing the combination. The included instructions were okay, but not quite clear enough, and I struggled with it for a while. What finally clicked was realizing that the lock needed to be in the locked position before moving the switch to change the code. Once I figured that out, setting my combination was straightforward.A clearer diagram or one extra sentence in the instructions would have saved me some unnecessary frustration.Other than the initial setup, these are great locks. They feel substantial, the four-digit combination is nice to have, and I expect them to hold up well.

These TSA-approved cable luggage locks are a great travel accessory for keeping luggage secured. The 2-pack is especially convenient since you can use one on your suitcase and keep the second as a spare or use it on another bag.I really like the dual-access design, which gives you the option of using the 3-digit combination or a key. The clear dials are easy to see, and the tool-free code reset makes changing the combination straightforward. The reset reminder is also a thoughtful feature for helping keep track of your current setting. The cable design is flexible and makes these locks easy to attach to different types of luggage zippers. The zinc alloy body also gives them a sturdy feel without being unnecessarily bulky. The red open alert is a nice visual feature that makes it easy to notice if the lock has been opened. Overall, these are practical travel locks with several convenient features, and the 2-pack makes them a useful addition to any travel gear collection.

Awesome cable locks for keeping the contents of your luggage secure. They're noticeably durable, strong and reliable. I can see them being used for years to come with no problems. Not difficult to initially set the code for each one. But you also have the option of just using the key. Seems cool that you can tell if anyone has used a key (or jimmied a lock) rather than use the combo. They're TSA approved, so you don't have to worry about meeting those requirements when you travel.
