I love cars. This lock is so cool. I can see my lock from a distance. It stands out among a crowd. Using this lock for international/domestic travel is a must. It deters unwanted activities from strangers. This lock is very easy to use. The instructions picture shows to use a screwdriver to set the number combination. I was able to use a pen to push in the pin in the wheels.This lock is so convenient to use. There is no need to hold extra key. I just took a picture of the numbers combination in my phone. I don't forget my code.

The "SURE LOCK TSA Compatible Travel Luggage Locks" is real easy to set up. The actual lock body is 3 inches long, 1.75 inches wide. The cable, when connected and locked into the body is 2.25 inches in length. The whole thing together is 5.25 inches long, which is large! It seams to work well and the programming of a code simple. I tried to mess up the code while locked so I could open it, but it held firm. Tried to jerk the lock open with reasonable force, but it held firm. I feel confidant this lock will work well and plan on using it on an upcoming trip. The only thing that worries me is the size, will it be prone to hang on something and damage my suitcase. Well if it does I'll let you know!Addendum: Took a two week 5000 mile trip via airlines and road trip. The lock performed very good and I had no issues with the size like I thought I would. However I noticed the little cable on the lock is bending at it's connection point(see pictures). Other than that it worked flawlessly as it was used every day.

This is not just a luggage lock that is keyed TSA007. It is a lock that is shaped like a car - even down to the wheels that are used to set the combo. Push down on the latch below the TSA symbol to open up the lock.As to resetting the combo, each of the wheels needs to be set separately. In the instructions, it provides a link to their website that explains how to use the cable end on the lock to reset each of them. Select the 4-digit Car Shape Lock.The TSA lock is on the back of the "car." As mentioned before, the lock is keyed as TSA007. I tried a TSA007 key and it works perfectly for this lock. Each of the "wheels" are labeled as A, B, C, D. I like that this lock is fashioned in the likeness of an automobile, with the individual turn dials, for choosing the combination numbers. This particular sort of design allows the user to mentally and internally decide just how their memory and mnemonics regarding the combination code will work, on the device. The fact that the lock has combination wheels on both sides allows for different visualizations or sequencing of numbers and of number ordering, in other words. The lock's hardware is sturdy enough, and secure, for light travel purposes. I like to have a secure compartment for my travel carry-along valuables, so this lock works out great for that purpose. That, in combination with the design features of this particular lock, itself, make it the ideal choice in travel luggage locks, in my opinion. I've owned various travel luggage locks, and I can definitely say that this one is the most well-made and user-friendly lock I've known.

Slightly bigger than I thought. I put up a picture of it next to the regular TSA locks I use and this thing is huge in comparison.It's solid though and the unique shape does have an advantage of helping you identify your bag on the baggage belt.It's a little big and it may get stuck with other luggage. But since the wire is big, I found it best to double lock it with the front pocket zip (see my pic above), that way it sits closer to the bag and doesn't protrude much there by reducing any chance of it getting entangled.The instructions to set the code were super clear and easy and the locking/unlocking is effortless.

Although this weighs just shy of 3 oz, I'd expected the car part to be lighter and smaller. When attached to my suitcase it hangs past the outside edge, which means it's possible that it could get caught on something while my bag is being moved around by the airline and possibly result in my bag or the lock being damaged.Setting up my combination was easy and worked on the first try. The only problem was that the numbers on each side of the lock are oriented in opposite directions (see photo where I show "9" on A & C, and "6" in B & D. The numbers 6 & 9 are shaped the same so the only difference is that one pair of dials is upside down.) and some may be confused when viewing them.I was amused by the "TSA 007" on the back (reference to James Bond, Agent 007?). That wasn't mentioned in the product description, but I did chuckle when I spotted it.In general, I'd prefer a more traditional lock, but this would be great for NASCAR or other car fans to have on their luggage. The lock wire fits easily through the loops of my zipper.

I love these!!! I also get compliments often because they are not a "normal" lock. They are easy to reprogram with the code and very sturdy.

I really love this luggage lock. The lock is of large size which is due to how well made it is. I feel more at ease with a lock that is more durable. Most suitcases these days come with locks built in but those are usually easy to break into. Not this lock. And for the price it is an amazing deal. Highly recommend.

I bought this before my trip in December and ended up not using it. When it arrived it looked too complicated to use. Maybe the fact that we were leaving in two days didn't help but I thought, I am not fussing with this lock for now (LOL)Now that we are back and I have more time on my hands, I looked at the lock and feel so silly not to have taken the time to figure out how it works before our trip.It literally took two minutes to change the combination and the instructions were very clear. Looking forward to using it on our next trip. No need to fuss with keys any more.The size of the lock is larger than a regular lock and definitely heavier but I think it would be easy to spot my suitcase from afar. Happy with my purchase

This travel lock is adorable. We have them for our luggage and my daughter wanted one for an upcoming trip. She basically just plays with it like a toy now! It is well made though and not easy to break.

I wondered about that, and so as soon as I spotted this TSA lock I grabbed it. Setting up the lock confused me a bit and I made the mistake of changing one of the numbers when I shouldn't have. Fortunately I guessed to move up one digit; but when it says, "Write down the number" I recommend you do. And take your time. Once the lock was set up, it was easy to lock and unlock. Would recommend.Update: I added a star because on my recent trip, this lock worked like a charm. I never had a problem with it, and it certainly helped my bag stand out.

This is a really distinctive luggage lock - it's oversized and can easily be spotted on the carousel. It's simple to set and reset the lock as well. What I really like is that the tumblers are cleverly the wheels on the car and with ample space between them it's very easy to move them and see what you are doing. This is a winner!

This lock is a cute car design. The keypad is in the wheels of the car which was a nice idea. Easy to lock and unlock if you use combo locks. It’s very sturdy and easy to put on luggage.

We used this lock to lock my backpack to our stroller at that famous Orlando theme park. Worked like a charm, and we always knew immediately which stroller was ours. We let our daughter choose the combination. It's 4 numbers. My daughter loves that it looks like a car.Overall this is easy to lock and unlock and it does the job. I would highly recommend it!

I really like this little lock, it is in the shape of a car. PLUS!!! It is a 4 number combination which increases the time frame someone could pick it by an hour or so..... It is TSA approved and has a keyslot so TSA can open it to inspect.It works great and I'm really glad I have this.

I travel a lot so I am always looking for a better luggage lock. I chose this one due to the cable hasp, which I find easier to use and more versatile than a solid metal hasp. I didn't even notice that this lock looks like a car. But it's really kinda cute! I really appreciate that each "wheel" is set separately, which is different from most locks where you set all numbers at the same time. I think it makes it a bit more secure to set them individually. The cable hasp is long enough to fit through several things at once, so you could lock up a few items with one lock. Very happy with this.

I will use it for my backpack or at the hotel with a cable to secure my luggage to the room.I've used Sure Locks in the past and they are great locks.Pros: Kids love it, and it is a good lock for a range of bags or luggage.Cons: Very heavy. So not perfect for 'Checked' luggage.

Be prepared to read the directions. It is definitely a cut above your average set-it-and-forget-it TSA lock. I picked this up because I "lose" so many locks from putting it on the airplane then coming out and my lock is gone. I'm trying out this more sophisticated lock to see whether there will be less tampering with this lock!
