No. Owners unlock the SureLock 21105 with their personal 3-digit combination. The airport-security inspection keyway is intended for authorized baggage screening and is not an owner backup keyway. The red Open Alert indicator rises after the lock has been opened through the TSA inspection system, giving you a visible sign that your luggage was inspected. Opening the lock with your correct combination automatically resets the indicator for future use. The SureLock 21105 uses a resettable 3-digit combination with 1,000 possible codes, from 000 to 999. You can change the combination whenever needed, as long as you know the current code and can open the lock. Start with the lock open and the current combination aligned. The factory code is 000. Move the reset switch into the setting position, choose your new 3-digit code, then return the switch to its normal position. Test the new combination several times while the lock is still open before attaching it to your luggage. The SureLock 21105 does not use an owner backup key for normal access.
