Does the SureLock 18063 come with an owner key?
No. The SureLock 18063 is opened by the owner with a personal 3-digit combination. The airport-security inspection access is not an owner backup key.
What does the red Open Alert indicator mean?
The red Open Alert indicator rises after the lock has been opened through the TSA inspection system, giving you a visible sign that your luggage was inspected. Entering the correct combination and opening the lock automatically resets the indicator.
How many combinations does the SureLock 18063 have, and can I change the code?
The SureLock 18063 uses a resettable 3-digit combination with 1,000 possible codes, from 000 to 999. You can change the combination as often as needed, as long as you know the current code.
How do I set or reset the SureLock 18063 combination?
The factory combination is 000. With the lock open and the current code aligned, use a pen tip or similar small tool to move the reset switch, choose your new 3-digit combination, then return the reset switch to its normal position. Test the new code several times while the lock is still open before using it on your luggage.
What should I do if I forget my SureLock 18063 combination?
The SureLock 18063 does not have an owner master-reset key. If you forget the combination, the lock cannot be reset until the current code is recovered. SureLock recommends checking the possible combinations from 000 through 999 or contacting customer support for assistance.

Used these locks to lock my fishing poles up while traveling internationally.
Using these for travel. I wanted something I could add to my luggage, use on a cable to lock my luggage while on a train in Europe, and to lock a double zipper on my backpack for when I’m on the subway and in city crowds. The cable fits on a standard zipper (see pic), the luggage zippers and easily works on a luggage (or helmet) cable lock. Seems sturdy for travel use. I don’t know if I’d use this on a locker because I think most of these cable locks can be cut by a prepared thief, but for use on the go this fits the bill. Was super easy to set the new code. Great price for two... same price I saw at discount stores and Target. Blue color is a little different than pictured but that didn’t really matter to me.

We purchased these for our recent trip to Italy, so that we can ensure that all the zippers were locked on our backpacks and suitcases to prevent pickpockets from unknowingly, unzipping your backpacks and stealing your goods.They did come in handy, and gave us a sense of assurance that someone would not be able to unzip our backpacks.We did have a situation on one train in Florence where a pick pocket tried to open my other backpack that only held my clothes.I did not use a lock on that one, cause it was just for clothing.
